  • Who do you supply? We supply to both professional and private customers.
  • When are you open? We are open weekdays 7.30am - 5.00pm and Saturdays 8am - 12.00pm.
  • What do I need to complete my job? We provide professional advice on what tools will best suit your particular task enabling you to complete your job quickly, safely, effectively, and cost efficiently. If you can't find what you are looking for on this website please do not hesitate to call us, if we don't carry particular equipment in stock we can probably point you in the direction of someone who does.
  • Do you demonstrate equipment? We provide a full demonstration before hiring, pointing out all safety features, advising on safe operation and making sure you are fully confident in operating the equipment prior to use.
  • Do I need Identification and a deposit to hire equipment? Customers who do not have aDale Hire Credit Account will need to provide two forms of identification that include a photograph and current address. Accepted forms of ID are as follows; Passport, Driving License, Bank Statement (within last 2 months), utility bill (within the last two months). A deposit will be required on a per item hired basis. Sale or Hire is at the discretion of Dale Hire.
  • Do you accept credit/debit card payments? Yes we accept card payments from all major card issuers. Please note we do not accept cheques.
  • Do I have to collect the item myself? You can either collect the item from our depot or arrange delivery/collection to/from your door at a time suitable to you (extra charges apply for delivery/collection). Please contact us for more details.
  • If I book an item of plant and then cancel do I have to pay anything? In most circumstances there is no cancellation charge. If you decide not to hire the item of plant for any reason please try and give as much notice as you can.
  • I want to hire an item of plant on long term. Are there any special rates available? Long term hire constitutes a period greater than one month. Special rates can be agreed prior to the hire commencing subject to the minimum term being fulfilled.
  • Who is responsible for keeping the plant safe whilst on hire? You are fully responsible for the safe keeping of the plant whilst on hire. Check with your insurer that you have adequate insurance cover for the item of plant prior to hiring. We can assist in providing any information your insurer may request.
  • Do your prices quoted include VAT. No all prices listed or quoted do not include vat.
